We Need More Rap Battle Videos

Okay, hear me out—rap battle videos are seriously underrated, and we need way more of them.

I’m talking about the style of Epic Rap Battles of History (ERB). Yeah, ERB exists, and yeah, there are clones trying to copy the formula—but let’s be real, a lot of those clones just don’t hit. They’re missing the clever writing, the timing, the production value, or the energy that makes ERB so good.

The thing is, there’s so much untapped potential here. Imagine rap battle videos that take the ERB concept and improve on it—tighter lyrics, sharper humor, better visuals, maybe even a fresh approach to the characters or themes. There’s so much room for creativity, and yet, we barely see it.

We need more creators stepping up, more high-quality rap battle videos, and more consistency. Because when a rap battle video is done right, it’s not just entertaining—it’s art, it’s clever, and it’s totally binge-worthy.

  1. Not a big fan of rap but I've seen a couple of "rap battles" and (if I can actually understand them) they are quite amusing.
